When Orangetheory Fitness opened a new location in Mississauga, they needed a licensed commercial plumber to handle the full plumbing scope from the ground up. Portimão Plumbing was brought in to complete the fit-out across the entire facility — a project that required coordination with the general contractor, strict adherence to Ontario Building Code, and delivery within the client's construction timeline.
Commercial fitness facilities have demanding plumbing requirements. High-traffic washrooms, multiple shower stalls, accessible fixtures, and specialty amenities like bottle-fill water stations all require a plumber with the experience and credentials to execute them correctly. Scope of Work

- Commercial Washrooms — wall-mounted sinks, chrome faucets, full drain rough-ins, and complete toilet installations throughout the men's and women's washroom facilities
- Commercial Showers — full shower installations with thermostatic mixing valves, chrome fixtures, hand-held shower heads, and drain rough-ins built to Ontario code
- ADA Accessible Washroom — roll-in shower with grab bars, barrier-free design, ADA compliant fixtures, and accessible toilet installation meeting Ontario accessibility standards
- Water Fountain — Elkay bottle-fill drinking water station, fully plumbed and installed for day-one operation
- Mechanical Room — complete mechanical room plumbing rough-in, including supply and drain connections
